Rustic Mirrors with Reclaimed Wood Frames

Frame made out of two pinewood boards reclaimed from a local workshop, they have a lovely patina and some remnants of 'industrial' gray paint.

Measures: 39 x 30cm

Small frame made with a thick, single pinewood board that used to join two wooden panes -thus the numerous nail holes in a zig-zag layout.. I left the original distressed surface untouched.

Measures: 23 x 29cm

Pinewood boards with their original, bright red paint; reclaimed from an old shelving unit that got dismantled at a local shop.

Measures: 62 x 40cm

Pictures taken during the MAKING process: Cutting the boards, once cleaned and de-nailed; I used a biscuit joiner and a router for the joints and to make the groove for the mirror pane. The frames got sealed with clear varnish, and polished for a smooth, satin finish (not shown, but you get the idea!)
