Blue foulard
After the first embroided foulard and the brown one, this time it was ok to use bright colours -yay!. So (don't trust the horrid pictures, they're a disgrace... urgently need a proper camera!) I used a light lima green to stitch the pattern on the deep turquoise blue of the fabric. And sewed big buttons on top, yellow and green.
Being quite lively just because of the colours, for this piece I chose to do a more straight pattern, and the lines only get whirly at their end. The design is still rather organic, as it was for the other ones that I made before, and different on both sides of the foulard.
The brim gets emphasized with a row of buttons, that also make the piece of material fall nicely when worn.
