Mirror and Wall Hangers

A nice commission from a nice couple: adapt a mirror to one of my salvaged wooden pieces and make two matching wooden bases for the wall hooks they had previously purchased. They wanted a rustic, yet elegant finish, and we agreed on a slightly distressed dark tint for all the wooden elements. As usually, I have also polished them till they are smooth as silk!

The mirror- the frame used to be part of a vintage divider in a shop, made out of even and 'long' octagons, disposed like a honeycomb: very 70s! (I have used two other parts of the same screen to make more mirrors -post on those to follow). It measures 21x 21cm.

The wall hangers- I have used a nice piece of salvaged floor board, cut into two squares of 14x 14cm and sanded unevenly in all the edges to get a rustic shape.
