Two Adjustable Ceiling Lamps from the 50s

Here are a couple of gorgeous adjustable ceiling lamps that I recently got from sales in local flats.
Both are from the late 1950s, with metal shades and weights plus brass details and lovely Midcentury Modern designs.

This first one sports a light teal colour, combined with black cotton cord. The bulb is easily reached by means of moving the frosted glass cover at the bottom of the structure. Everything was in mint condition, so I only had to give it a thorough clean and a wiring check-up. Neat.

Measures: the shade is 37cm in diameter, 17cm high (with the handle). Height can be adjusted quite a lot, from 50 to 100cm or more.

A picture taken during the wiring check-up: control passed!

The second lamp, quite dainty, has a light moss green colour that combines with the amber yellow of the cord, the brass details and the frosted glass that covers the bulb. Check the pictures below for further details.

Measures: the shade is 35cm in diameter, 18cm high (counting the glass cover too). Height can be adjusted quite a lot, from 50 to 100cm or more.

A couple of pictures taken after the cleaning, during the check-up: everything fine!
