Little Aqua Colour Stool

I got a dilapidated stool with steel tubular structure not long ago; the fiberboard seat was not worth it and the steel was all rusty, but the shape was so cute I thought it deserved a second chance.

Check the pictures in the 'making of' section here below to see the process of recovering the structure. I also replaced the seat, using a reclaimed solid pinewood one.

Now, this is what I call: 'From sad to chirpy'!

Measures: Seat 28cm diameter, seat height 44cm, backrest height 62cm.

Some pictures taken during the MAKING OF process: the reclaimed seat and the structure, before their restoration. Sanding the pinewood to make it ready for the varnish (not shown)
Scraping the rust off the steel tube with steel wool, then undercoating with water-based primer paint.
Painting with self-made turquoise colour enamel paint. Finally, attaching the seat to the structure.
