Bespoke TV Stand: Steel & Reclaimed Wood

We recently finished a commission by a young couple that was a pleasure to make: a custom TV stand with raw steel structure in the shape of a box and two shelves made out of reclaimed floorboards in solid pinewood, painted in deep red and distressed to highight the lovely grain.

Measures: 100 x 37,5 cm, 45 cm high.

The solid pinewwod floorboards, cut to measure to fit in the structure. Sanding and preparing them.

Painting in the deep red colour chosen by the customers, then distressing them.

Finally, sealing the whole piece with clear water-based varnish. It was also polished for a smooth, satin touch -not shown-.
