Bespoke Restoration of a 1950s Desk Lamp

1Unik came to the rescue of this cute Mid Century Modern desk lamp. Some parts were missing, like the switch and the base. Also, the cord and bulb socket were dated and damaged, so needed replacement... see the pictures below for more details on what we did.

The end result is respectful with the original design, and this lovely mustard yellow lamp gets many years ahead of perfect fuctioning again!

Measures (approx): 33cm high, shade 26cm diameter, base 12cm diameter

 Wiring the lamp and, finally, securing the new base with vintage brass screws.
