This is a side table full of character, made out of a solid walnut drawer that came from an old workshop. It's got two lovely iron cup pulls in the front and 15 divisions, that I have painted with different hues of light gray or stained in dark walnut to match the front.
It is mounted on four vintage steel tube legs, painted in a dark tone of gray, and has a fitted glass top that allows the display of small objects that can be placed inside the divisions.
Measures: 41 x 65,5 cm, height 49cm
Some pictures taken during the MAKING OF:
Above, the main parts used to make the table. Below: sanding and preparing the old drawer, and painting the divisions. I also scraped the damaged surface of the chromed legs, plus painted them with a self-made dark gray enamel paint. Then it came the varnishing and mounting both the legs and the glass top (not shown)
