Shelf Unit with Drawers

Restored vintage shelving unit: I have treated the wood, stained the frame in a deep dark brown tone and painted the top part of the shelves in white, adding a distressed finish to them.

I have also built four drawers, as the original ones were missing -they're made with salvaged pine boards, with the inside bottom surface stained in the same tone as the structure of the shelving unit and the fronts in distressed white. The brass pulls are recycled vintage ones.

Measures: 65cm wide, 24cm deep, 105cm high

On the left, the unit before its restoration: lovely lines but so dark and gloomy... (plus the drawers were missing, here is the back side)

Below: a few pictures taken during the restoration and updating:
Sanding the whole thing, then treating the wood
Wood filling the damaged parts and painting the top part of the shelves white (then I would distress it, not shown) and staining the structure with wengue tone
Reinforcing the structure for the drawers to come, and also staining this inside part.
Getting the right measures for the drawers and building them
The bottom boards got stained as well (not shown), and the fronts painted in white, then distressed and varnished. Below: polishing the vintage pulls.
