I got these two cute traffic light sconces in an Antiques shop. They are authentic, vintage ones -but I have no idea from which country: do you? I'd love to know!
They were in a very good condition, so I only had to clean them, attach them together, do the wiring for home use and make them stand on a foot and pole (a nice one, taken from a vintage bird cage stand: bronze painted black base and white brass pole)
The groovy Traffic Lights Floor Lamp is 105cm high, and will put an original, cheerful accent in any room!
Some shots of the making of: the parts, once cleaned and ready to be assembled (the bronze foot had to be scrapped to take off the rust); wiring and joinning the two sconces and cutting the foam for the base.
Good idea
