Oink, the Piggy Bank

Oink the tin pig just joined in the Trash Family! He is round and smooth and bright red -and loves devouring spare change, because he is a piggy bank after all... but don't worry, he will give the coins back whenever you want.

His body used to be an oil can, old and battered but never used. He is also perfectly 'safe' to use because I have varnished those spots where the paint chipped off to prevent Oink from rusting, and sanded all parts that might have had pointy bits or sharp edges.
The piggy details are made with various metallic pieces, old and new -such as washers, nuts, bolts, wire, screws, rubber washers, bicycle bearing balls, a round plate and two flat hangers for small shelves.
Like a proper piggy bank, he has a slot on his back -it has a metallic cover, adapted from a Mac computer part. And the coins can be easily recovered just by unscrewing his nose!

Oink measures 13cm long, 8cm diameter, and is 10cm high.
