Four sets of Candle Holders

I've just finished four sets of surprising, unusual candle holders -perfect for this winter time! Here they are, detailed one by one:

CHROME PIPE EXTENSIONS, WOOD & VINTAGE DOOR KNOBS

A pair of traditional-looking candle holders... made out of unexpected parts: two wooden knobs taken from an old coat rack, two chrome water extension pipes, two wooden hole-fillers, two chrome door knobs taken from a 70s kitchen cabinet and two metallic screw covers!

The wooden parts are painted in aqua-green colour, distressed, protected with clear varnish and polished, to create a nice contrast with the shiny metallic bits.

20cm high

VINTAGE ICE CREAM CUPS & PLASTIC
This pair of candle holders are made assembling two inox ice cream cups from the 70s, a pair of actual candle holders from the 60s (in gorgeous, thick mustard coloured plastic) and two vintage chrome door knobs taken from a 60s bathroom cabinet.

13cm high, 13cm widest diameter.

BICYCLE REAR HUBS, RUBBER AND GLASS

A pair of 'thech' candle holders, made with a couple of Shimano rear hubs (model Exage FH-HG50, from the early 90s), two large rubber rings taken from old casters, a pair of little vintage liquor glasses, long screws inside, to keep the parts together, and some washers (metallic and rubber ones)

18cm high.

VINTAGE WOODEN LEGS & GLASS
This trio of candle holders is made with a set of cute wooden legs with a metallic trim -taken from a 70s armchair- and three thick pressed glass candle holders (that are suitable for both tea and stick candles). An intentionally minimal look, quite 'designy' in its combination of materials and straight lines!

6cm diameter, double one: 15cm high, short ones: 10cm high
