It is made out of an amber milk glass shade from the early 70s (turned upside-down), a metallic base from an old lamp, a 'lid' of mysterious origin (I got it like that, and the seller didn't know about its former use either), topped with a brass lamp part and a gorgeous, old huge Art Déco bakelite drawer knob. I have sprayed the metallic parts in matte black to get a nice contrast with the shiny glass shade, the switch and plug are black as well and the cotton cord has the same mustard colour as the glass.
Measures: 26cm diameter at its widest point, 30cm high.
The parts, before their transformation -and spraying some of them with a nice matte black paint (the base, the lid and the brass lamp part used for the topping underneath the bakelite ball)
