Four more empty-your-pockets trays made out of a maple wood carved bowl! They all follow the same idea, but each one is unique.
The bodies of thess butterflies are a brass handle taken from a vintage
cabinet, with nice Art Nouveau curved lines, and three antique casted bronze
key holes profusely decorated. The antenna are made out of engraved copper bangles, cut and
twisted on both ends.
I have coloured the bowls with off-white, turquoise and green turquoise colours, then distressed the surface to get that lovely 'shabby-chic' look. The clear varnish protects it
all and provides a soft, satin finish.
Measures: 26cm at their widest point, from 15 to 18cm long. Here are the four Butterfly Trays in detail:
-Turquoise, with Neoclassical bronze keyhole plate
-Off White, with Rococo bronze keyhole plate
-Green turquoise, with Art Nouveau brass cabinet pull
-Green turquoise, with rococo keyhole bronze plate
