A beauty in shape and proportions, functional and restrained in forms, solid and very well designed, made with top quality thick brass... Catalan Metalarte Company, that has been producing amazing design lamps since the late 30's, certainly deserves its fame! -you can check its interesting history here.
It was a real pleasure to restore this gorgeous vintage model: I polished it thoroughly, but letting the lovely time worn patina show. Also, as I got it empty, I rewired it and adapted a vintage -revised- pullchain socket, and a little brass screw to secure the adjustable height stem.
The bowl-shaped metal shade swivels in all directions; this lamp is perfect for reading or other activities requiring a good, focused light source.
Measures: 25cm diameter base, the height adjusts from 120cm to 150cm. 2 meters long black cord.
