Wall (Clothes)Hanger

This is a 'Country Chic' wall hanger, made out of an old clothes hanger from the 20s and five vintage bronze drawer knobs, four from the 70s and a bigger, more decorated one, from earlier on (probably also from the begining of the 20th century).
The making involved thoroughly polishing the knobs, sanding and treating the clothes hanger wood, then applying a combination of water-based enamel paint that gives a fresh green colour. I have created a 'distressed' look (as I usually do) to accentuate the curvy lines and add interest to the piece, and finally protected it with a clear water-based varnish.
All and all, a cute little hanger (40cm wide, 41cm long) that serves as an interesting piece of rustic-but-chic decoration for the wall, and it is also useful to hang jewelry, foulards, a set of keys, etc.
