Bespoke Industrial TV Stand

One of the latest commissions was to build this TV console, similar to the previous one I made last month, with square tubular steel structure, solid pinewood shelves reclaimed from old scaffolding and a vintage solid pinewood sliding drawer, recovered from a workshop desk and cut to size. Check the pictures below and the 'Making of' section for further details.

Measures: 100 x 25cm, 50cm high.

UPDATE: The happy customers sent a picture of the TV console, looking good at their place. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure!

A series of pictures taken during the MAKING of the TV stand: sanding the layers of dry concrete off the reclaimed scaffolding wood; the main parts used to build the media cabinet.
Cutting the shelves to measure, and rounding the edges
Staining the wooden shelves. I cut the back of the old drawer to fit the depht of the TV stand,
Stained the bottom too, and nailed the back once again.
Attaching the slides to the drawer, and the whole piece to the structure.
Screwing the shelves to the steel structure and finally, sealing with several coats of clear varnish. I also polished the whole piece for a soft, satin touch.
