Old Industrial Pendant Lamp - Satin Black

An old industrial pendant lamp from the late 1940s that had obviously had a rough past gets renewed by means of a thorough cleaning, enamel satin black paint for the outside and an off-white tone for the inside plus new parts, including a black and white checkered cotton cord.

Measures: lamp shade 30cm diameter, 32cm high. The cord is over a meter long.

A few pictures taken during the MAKING OF process: the lamp, in its original state - the old porcelain light bulb socket was most interesting, but impossible to salvage. A pity!

The lamp shade, once cleaned and painted. The dents and battered bits are still visible, showing its age.
