Antique Keyhole Plate & Suede Necklace

The combination of materials, elements and shapes makes this a rather elegant and uncommon short necklace, but still wearable in all occasions. Around 18cm long.

Its central part is made out of a beautiful, 10cm wide antique nickel keyhole plate, (taken from a drawer of a desk from around 1910); thin gauge rolo nickel chains in loops and two charms of opaque white and iridescent dark gray glass beads from India.

The cord has two threads of light gray and white suede, joined with nickel crimps. Lobster clasp at the back.
