Perchera: From coat stand to side table!

The Perchera Table is made out of a vintage clothes hanger ('perchero' in Spanish), in the style of the Thonet ones but with curved plywood slats instead of beechwood.

I saved the top part for future projects, cut the central pole to measure, replaced the thin ring (that usually holds the umbrellas) for a bigger, more solid one from a stool and made out of plywood too, added the round surface from a former table on top... and voilà!: A cute side table full of charm that combines classic and modern looks, and that would fit in many decoration styles with its neutral colours of natural wood and off-white.
The parts, before the transformation -then it came the dismantling, cutting and painting -and the final assemblage.

The Perchera table measures 50cm in diameter and is 58cm high.
