I love boxes, I've always had... so it's only natural that, now that I'm fully dedicated to upcycling, my mind tricks me into turning everything into a box! Here is the first one, out of a series of small colourful ones:
This box is made out of two maple wooden bowls.
I sanded and painted them on opposite sides -one in the outside, the other one in the inside- with a fresh grass-green, then varnished them.
The two bowls are joined by a small brass hinge and clasp, and the box sports an antique brass drawer knob on top.
It measures 10cm in diameter, 10cm height.
