This follows a kind of new line in style, although the basis has always been there: a face with a mean expression, round and well defined edges, the figure 'floating' in a blank background... the novelty it is in the use of colour, that is applied in criss-cross tiny lines (colour pencil) and creates a thick charcoal effect. Yet, this texturized layer lets the cardboard show in certain parts. Then, some touches of light are made with white eyeliner, that is maybe the best use for it you can get...
Pos a mí no me parece que tenga la cara mean que dices; es enigmática, eso sí. Y tampoco me parece un cambio de estilo tan radicás, aunque tal vez no aprecio bien los detayes del lápiz y del eyeliner (que ya lo has usado otras veces también).

Me encanta, Lako, es una matrioska con cara de rumana de las que piden en los semáforos. Este detalle de representar a las minorías etnicas es genial, ya estamos jartos de matrioskas rubias y dulces, ole! por lo demás no entiendo ná de lo que pones en inglés, sólo eye liner, qué mal.
