My first toy made for newly born Leo! 'twas a stuffed lion (how witty, innit?) and I wanted it to be reeeeally soft, so I used velvety socks of different colours. It turned out to be a nightmare, as the socks had already a shape and I had to cut them to make the different pieces that would form the head and body of the "animal". the result is quite weird, especially the part that was supposed to be the hairs around the face- it looks as if the lion was wearing one of those inflatable cushions people use while travelling :-( For that part I used a patch from an old favourite pair of trousers - the rest is former socks and thick cotton thread for the whiskers, eyes and mouth. Never again! but I know, never say never...
It took me ages to find the pic of the stuffed lion! That makes me realise how important is to keep the production safetly saved in, for example, here... So let's go for the second present: Christmas. That was the mobile: acrylics on cardboard, beads, bamboo sticks and cotton thread. It arrived a little bit tangled up but Leo liked it the same - good baby!
venga, dale, ya puedes poner las afotos del puzzle!!!
