I recently made this serving tray, using a slab of solid Iroko (a large hardwood tree from the west coast of tropical Africa), oiled to highlight the lovely grain, sealed with clear varnish and polished to get a smooth, satin finish. A couple of reclaimed cabinet handles in solid bronze complete the elegant design.
