Full Moon Table Lamp

The Full Moon table lamp is a sleek, eye-catching piece that will add a 'designy' vintage touch to any living room.

Made with a chromed vintage base with a tulip shape by Fase (a famed Spanish brand), restored and fully rewired, and a huge round milk glass shade that used to belong to a ceiling lamp (one of those that are still produced and copy the original Bauhaus design). The new bakelite bulb socket, cord, switch and plug are in white to match the shade.

Measures: 60cm high, 26cm the base diameter, 30cm the glass shade diameter

The vintage base, as I got it -the bulb socket was cracked and the wiring outdated... a close up of the plug with the famous Spanish brand -shame that it had to go!
Once the base was disassembled, polishing all the chrome parts. Then, I had to come up with a way to re-wire the lamp. As the base cover could not be removed, I opened up a hole in it!
Trimming and softening the edges  of the hole. And once I was finally able to put the new wire in and pass it through the power cord hole in the foot, I covered the base with an adhesive felt pad. Better for the furniture too! Then, I did the wiring of the bulb socket. Voilà!
