Three more empty-your-pockets trays made out of a maple wood carved bowl adding up to the collection! They all follow the same idea, but each one is unique. Plus, this time I've tried a different approach to make the antenna -check out the details:
The bodies of these butterflies are vintage brass handles and the antenna are made out of antique casted bronze pull handles, profusedly decorated.
I have coloured the bowls with off-white and green
colours, then distressed the surface to get that lovely 'shabby-chic'
look. The clear varnish protects it
all and provides a soft, satin finish.
Measures: 26cm at their widest point, around 16cm long.
-White, with Neoclassical bronze ring pull plate for the body, and a casted bronze pull handle to make the antenna:
-Green and White, with brass handles taken from a vintage
cabinet, with nice Art Nouveau curved lines, for the body; and a casted bronze pull handle to make the antenna:
