White distressed rustic suitcase basket

Here is another 'revamping case': a cute suitcase basket, very rustic and in good shape, but too monotonous, and with too an uneven bottom inside.
So I painted it with a matt white tone, distressed to enhance the rustic look, and left the nice details in their natural colour for them to stand out (the little suitcase has clasps made out of thin twigs!). I also cut and painted a thick board for the inside bottom, to make it flat and create a nice contrast with the natural colour of the straw inside.

Voilà! a practical, cute box -37 x 24cm, 14cm high: perfect to keep the sewing kit, crafting materials and many other treasures.
