Long whimsical necklace (42cm), with an original combination of materials.
It's made out of an oval goldtone pill box, not very old but quite Victorian in its lines. To create an interesting contrast, I have added a thin layer of old wood on the lid, sanded and smooth but chipped, and part of an antique cast-brass cabinet plate with an intricate form of a flower.

The design of the necklace allows that the box can still be opened while worn as a pendant.
