Acid Mushrooms Table Lamps

This is the very first time that I have been able to make two identical lamps! And it will probably stay a rare case, 'cause I don't usually find parts in pairs. So here it is: a fresh, nice looking couple with neat finishes that is also quite versatile, as they include a three stage touch dimmer switch to reduce the energy usage and bring new moods to the room!

I have used the chrome bases of two kinda-modern table lamps found at my favourite thrift store -to which I was able to adapt a pair of new touch dimmer switches by means of cutting the heavy plastic weights that had inside. And also several vintage parts: two aqua-blue milk glass spheres that belonged to a single, quite tall (and ugly) lamp, four chrome parts taken from a ceiling fixture from the 70s and a pair of lima-green milk glass shades that were waiting for me side by side at a flea market some time ago.
The bulb sockets, plugs and transparent cord are all new, like the dimmer switches.

Measures: 30cm tall, 20cm the diameter of the glass shades at their widest point, 12.5cm the diameter of the bases.
Both lamps, switched off - in brightest mode and dim mode - and both set in medium brightness

Some of the main parts used to make the Acid Mushrooms lamps (I ended up changing that wire that secures the milk glass shade for a smaller one, you can see it in the third picture)
Polishing the vintage chrome parts, mounting the first lamp
Wiring -note that I had to cut the weigh on the base to make enough room for the dimmer switch. All that got later secured and then covered, of course!
